Join us for the Stride for Foster Care - Take a Walk on a Child's Side, a fun event for the whole family to help raise funds for Iowa's children in foster care.

You can help these children not only by walking, but you can create your own fundraising page or a team page and collect pledges for the Stride for Foster Care Walk. Funds raised during the campaign will go to IFAPA's Friends of Children in Foster Care Program. This program provides Iowa children in foster care with the funds they need for those special “extras” in life which they would otherwise not receive (ex: senior pictures, music lessons, camp, sporting fees, graduation expenses, etc.).

How to register:

1. Enter in the number of people you are registering. Registration is $30 per person ages 11 and older (this includes lunch). You can also mark how many kid's t-shirts you would like to buy. Kids' t-shirts are $10 a shirt and come in sizes: X-Small, Small, Medium and Large. Once you have entered in your quantities click "next"

2. Enter in the first & last name along with email address  for each person you are registering. If you purchased kid's t-shirts list the first name of each child and t-shirt size for that child.  If you are bringing children 10 and younger please list how many. Once you have entered all the required information click "next"

3. Enter your contact and credit card information. Once you have entered all of your information click "submit"

4. You will receive a confirmation email. Please print off receipt for your records.
