Hey Everyone!!!
Are you willing to help make a difference in someone's life? If so, than join me in raising money for two organizations that not only help children in foster care, but also help provide training and support to the parents who are helping these children get through some of the most difficult times in their life.
Many of you might not be aware of, but I work for the Iowa Foster & Adoptive Parents Association (IFAPA). Our organization provides training, support and resources to foster, adoptive and kinship families who are caring for children who are currently or were previously in the foster care system. IFAPA is partnering with The Iowa Friends of Foster Children Foundation in the first annual Stride for Foster Care Walk (on May 1st). The Friends Foundation provides grants for foster children so they can participate in extracurricular activities such as: sports, band, dance or to attend their high school prom, go to summer camp or get their senior pictures taken.
