"For the Kids"
Did you know there are over 4,000 children in Iowa's foster care system? 

If you ask any one of these children what they want most it is simply to live a "normal" life.  The Stride for Kids 5K Walk/Run seeks to raise money to be sure that every child in Iowa's foster care system can achieve the goal of "normalcy" by providing them with the "extras" that many take for granted...the opportunity to go to summer camp, have a graduation party or go to prom.  It is the little things that make the biggest difference in the lives of these children.
