Join me this year in our 6th Annual Fundraising Event benefiting Iowa's youth in foster care.
Stride for Kids 5K Run/Walk is an event for the whole family. Whether you like to walk or run, come out, have a good time, and help us raise money.
For those that don't know what I do, I work for IFAPA (the agency that is putting on this event). I help plan everything down to the last detail for this event, so I would love for my friends and family's support this year. It can be big or small financially or you can join us and participate.
Every little bit raised goes towards our Friends of Children in Foster Care Program. This program provides grants up to $200 for kids in foster care. It could pay for a prom dress, swimming lessons, music equipment...etc. It's the little things that most kids get to do, but these kids can't because of the financial cost.
So if we all throw in a couple bucks we can help a child get what other kids are able get or do.
