Our Family
Most of you who view this will know our story.  But here is a brief recap for those of you who do not.  When we decided to become involved with foster care we were excited about the opportunity to help.  We had no idea what a huge role it would play in our lives.  We had 2 kids and where pregnant with our third when we received the call to pick up a baby boy, a year later that beautiful baby became our son.  Two years later we received another call and our youngest daughter entered the family too!  Our family would not be who we are without the foster care system.  The system is designed to return kids to their families and I think Iowa has one of the best systems in the country.  But in our kids cases returning home was not the best option for them.  And we are so blessed to call them ours.  We cannot imagine our lives or our families without them.  
With 5 little kids, we are not doing much foster care right now, but we look forward to doing more in the future.
