Team Member Stories

Amy Meihak
Most of you know my own personal story and I am amazed by the various ways I have received support through different organizations that are associated with Iowa Foster and Adoptive Parents Association. I want to thank each and everyone of you for donating your time and support for me and my family during my entire process of becoming a foster parent. You have all been very instrumental in every aspect of my life and this process. In becoming a foster parent I have learned there are many more children out there that need our love and support as well. During my journey I also realized there are many others in our office that have been touched by the foster care system. You all have given big in so many different ways to every cause we take on through WNET. I am so proud to work with each and everyone of you. I have also asked my friends and family outside of work to help support this cause & I hope that you will be able to do the same. It still amazes me that there are over 5,000 children in the foster care system in Iowa alone that need our help and I know every little bit will help each of them. Thank you again for everything you do!
